Who I inspect for

  • 01Manufacturers: consumer claim inspections
  • 02Dealers and retailers
  • 03Flooring contractors and installers
  • 04Insurance adjusters
  • 05Attorneys: litigation support available

What's included

I've sold floors, installed them and repaired them. Now I inspect them for whoever needs the facts. Running a showroom for years means I know the dealer's position on a claim. Installing means I know what a crew deals with on a job site.

  • On-site inspection with full photo documentation
  • Relative moisture testing to help identify areas of potentially excessive moisture and determine whether moisture may be contributing to flooring performance issues
  • Flatness, expansion space, transitions and installation method checked against the manufacturer's written instructions
  • Cause determination referenced to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards
  • Recommended corrective action

Also available: pre-installation moisture and subfloor testing, installation consulting, installer training.
